Burrows has become Ohio's leading book, stationery, and office-supply firm. The collection consists of an unidentified diary possibly belonging to J.S. Burrows and other members of their family concerning personal and legal matters, the operation of The Painesville Telegraph, Republican Party politics in Lake County, Ohio, and political and economic affairs in Kansas and Iowa during the mid-1850s.
